So, what changed?
Well, I learned these 3 very important things that you can add to your content.
The Art of Improvement.
A lot of creators cruise. They keep posting and think that consistency alone is going to get them to their goals. It’s play a factor for sure. But that’s not it. If it were only consistency that determined growth, I wouldn’t be where I am right now.
You need to improve. And I don’t just mean change a few words in your content, do barely any engagements, and just stick to the bare minimum. I mean, A/B test your hooks for your content, tell transformational stories, engage even more on your account. Trust me, they work. Keep taking actionable steps toward improvement.
Cliche, but be yourself.
It’s true. People will only see your content if they enjoy your content and your personality. You have to show yourself. Post pictures, write funny jokes, be you. That’s the key to winning over an audience. People want authenticity, not another guru knocking at their door to give the same advice.
Do less.
Sometimes, the best thing to do is to take a step back, and do less. Post only 2x/day instead of 4, engage only 15x/day instead of 150, focus more on the content instead of the metrics.
You know that quote “Less is more”? It’s true. I started doing less engagement, less DMs, and focused more on the content. That’s when the pieces started being put into place.
Bonus Tip:
Drink a bunch of coffee. Yum. :)
