What To Do When You Have No Content Ideas.

Writing To Resonate (newsletter)

Hiii guys!!

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to write for this one.

I sat down into my chair. I looked at the screen.

Blank.

My head just wouldn’t conjure up ideas.

Usually, it’s easy. But right now I just wasn’t sure.

So, now I’m writing about what I do when I don’t have ideas lmaooo.

(Especially, for X posts.)

Will I keep trying?

Stare at the screen until something happens?

Wait, pray, and hope that I’ll think of something? (I’m actually not religious at all, so no.)

But what I will do, is walk away.

That’s it. Close the laptop, walk away, and maybe walk outside for a little bit.

Taking a look from a different angle can help you see from another perspective. And that’s when the ideas really start to FLOW. Also, when you let your mind be bored and wander, the ideas come wayyy more.

So, start going on walks! Or, you can even go to the gym. That REALLY helps me. (I like to listen to audio books at the gym too, extra creativity).

Or, go read a book. (I’m reading The 5am Club atm. What are you reading?)

Or, go on a date with your S/O. That always helps me!

Go journal!

Orrrr, go to a park, beach, trip.

There’s a TONNNN of stuff you can do to get your creativity back. What I’m saying is, take a step back. Stop trying so hard to force your light bulb to go off. It won’t when you force it. But it will when it wants to. So let your brain rest. That’s when the light bulb will go off.

Also, this was my email idea. I didn’t know what to write, so I stared at a wall and let my mind rest. That’s when I decided to write about having no ideas lmaooo.

Anyway, I hope this helped guys and girls!
