How I earned my first $1 online at 12.
Dear you beautiful hooman,
I wanted to tell you the story of how I earned my first $1 online at 12.
It all started when I was bored of video games.
Call of Duty BO3 Zombies was way too easy.
I averaged 100-150 rounds for every map. I spent 12 hours/day grinding it. And I reached the max level on the game for zombies — TWICE.
Needless to say, I had no life.
So, I started a YT channel.
A channel where I’d stream hundreds of times. People would come to watch me dominate zombies, but also to just chill and chat for a while.
It was nice. I wasn’t bored anymore. I could enjoy zombies again.
AND, I helped other people. They’d ask me, “how’d you do xyz? I didn’t even know that was a thing!” And I’d tell them each step so they could replicate it.
I’ve had a lot of experiences in my life. But I’m not gonna lie, streaming as a 12 year old was one of the best experiences so far. I’d say top 5. Just because of the fulfillment, the joy, the simplicity. (Okayyy, and maybe the money. Just a teeny bit.) People would send me donations occasionally haha.
But I lost it all.
I quit streaming all because of a whim.
But that story is pretty long.
So, I’ve linked it below instead.
I hope this helps some of you, I truly do.
And I hope you enjoyed reading about younger me.
Thanks for reading!
-The super duper cool ghostwriter, Nick.
At the age of 12, I earned my first $1 online.
I posted for 12 months straight on YouTube — to hit 1,000 followers
during a live stream. And I was sent a $1.00 donation.I had earned money online when it was ‘impossible’.
And that’s when I knew…
