Breaking Down 5 of My Most Viral Tweets
Hey Guys!
I wasn’t sure what to make an email about.
So… I’m going to break down 5 of my most viral posts.
Because… they did well for a reason.
And I intend to study it.
And figure out what I did right/wrong.

Quick Breakdown: It was a popular topic and pretty broad.
A lot of people on Twitter consider themselves entrepreneurs, so they all scrambled toward this post.
Plus, most people agreed. You can tell because it got an abnormally high amount of likes for my posts.

Quick Breakdown: It was polarizing.
Most people think they NEED to buy courses, books, and mentors.
So then they questioned why they needed to stop. Plus, it creates a curiosity gap. By the time you get to “you’re being counterproductive”, you’re thinking “BUT WHY”.
So by then they were hooked. This is why I’ve taken a liking to turning my LinkedIn posts to X posts lately. You only get 3 lines on LinkedIn so every line needs to be a hook. That’s how I got this result. ^
(Funny thing was it didn’t even do well on LinkedIn).

Quick Breakdown: Huge curiosity gap.
It started off with an engaging/entertaining story. Then, I said, “I guess we’ll see what happens”.
Well… people want to see what happens. So a bunch of people felt that way and it skyrocketed. See.. there’s a common theme here.
They’re usually broad topics, they’re usually stories, AND they have a great curiosity gap.

Stats: 2.2k impressions, 38 likes.
Quick Breakdown: The first line. People related with it.
Because writing on X FEELS impossible. It’s fricking difficult.
PLUS, people can relate to putting in so much work for a post to flop.
Oh wait… actually I didn’t realize that was why until I wrote it out just now.
But anyway, I solved a problem. Most people related to the problems.
And I gave them a huge thread of tips to solve it. And people wanted to know how I solved it.

This is still my most viral post on X so far. Yet, was written in 1 minute.
Quick Breakdown: I was lost. And I didn’t realize it at the time… but you know how many people are lost? We’re all lost. I was just the one who outright said it. Then the 2nd line. I think it just spoke the lingo of many other young people who were lost. It was very relatable. BUT, that wasn’t what made it go viral.
Look at that last sentence. “I’m done listening”.
Imagine it in real life. I stand up, get on a table, and shout, “I’M DONE LISTENING!”
That’s what it felt like when people read it. So naturally, they wondered what I’m going to do, or they wanted more context.
When gurus say relatability, stories, and curiosity are key, THEY AREN’T LYING.
The reason we think they are is because they don’t give an example. Well, here’s an example.
